Teachers of ESL and EFL usually use two of the three methods mentioned in the study, i.e. text alone, and text with pictures because they are limited with specific curricula.
I've learned a number of languages using the third method of the study, and that is text with videos. Our visual memory is stronger and it helps us learn faster. "The dual coding theory states that when both verbal and visual materials are presented, learners can construct referential connections between these two forms of mental representation, and thus learn more effectively.
